Them ones that go Away!
All the amazing fans down at Upton Park are always thinking the same thing and talking about the same thing, why do west ham always sell or get rid of them players that are obviously talented and could be helping us towards more success at the club. If we kept on to them players who are now at top teams and are big stars around the world we would be in the champion’s league and we would be winning trophies and more silverware than we do today, throughout the history of the club we have had these big players that are top class players now in the premier league and also players that could be better than some current individuals in the current squad we have now. These are some of the players that left west ham and we all wonder what if we still had those players in today’s team.

If we were to have these players still and didn’t let them go we would have been in champions league football and competing in the top competitions around the world, just think of the starting line-up that we could have had today, we would have been one of the best teams in England by far if we still had these stars in our team. West Ham need to keep onto their signings as we always seem to get these players in and they will make an instant impact in the team and then all of a sudden they will get pulled always by the bigger clubs. Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano both arrived at Upton Park in august 2006, they were linked with all the top clubs around the world including being linked with moves to Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea from the English premier league it was the worlds biggest shock that we have bought these players and there was always dodgy about this, as everyone knew it was too good to be true, but the fact is that if we were to kept these two players we would have been in champions league football. If we also have Scott Parker in our team who left back in 2011 for Tottenham Hotspur we would be in champion’s league football if we were to have him alongside Mascherano and Frank Lampard, we would have without question have one of the best midfields in the premier league.
Can you imagine the attack having Demba Ba and Carolos Tevez up front they would be scoring goals almost every game and having Jermaine Defoe as a backup or even with Tevez playing Centre forward and having Demba Ba and Defoe up front. When we get signings like these again and players that are obviously talented we have to make sure we keep on to them.I can see what West Ham are trying to do, and obviously they are trying to make profits and it’s a business at the end of the day but they need to keep some of the signings that they sign and hold onto these stars as they could be making even more money if they got the reward money for winning the champions league and higher competitions rewards. and the weird thing is we always seem to sell the players very cheaply and don’t really get what they are worth so we never have the money to replace these stars.West Ham need to start keeping their star players and start to look towards building the clubs level of football as we don’t want to have the same goal every season we want to progress towards the top of the table, if we would of kept those star players we would have had more of a chance than some of the clubs today.John Terry was 10 years old John Terry he had trials with both Milwall and West Ham but it was West Ham who signed him up in to their famed youth academy. But then what a surprise we let him go and Chelsea signed him at the age of 14.
In 1995 Frank Lampard took part in his first season which was the 1995/1996 season he only started once, but when he did everyone knew that he had the potential to become a top player, in the next season after that he started playing a lot more and he made 13 appearances for West Ham’s first team. In the 1997/1998 this is when he was more involved in the first team, he made a total of 31 appearances in this season and scored a total of 5 goals in his first season which he played a massive part in. after that he was a key player for West Ham and for the 3 seasons after that he was playing every game and scoring and assisting in West Ham’s seasons.in 2001 frank Lampard was sold to Chelsea after his dad and Harry Redknapp was sacked as manager. He wasn’t a liked player at his time at west ham but we can respect that he is a top player and we could have still had him in our team and we would probably still be up there with the best if were to have him still. Demba Ba joined West Ham in 2010 for an undisclosed fee, at his time at West Ham he scored 7 goals in 12 appearances for the club and everyone knew he had it in him to become a world class player. Last season for Newcastle he scored an impressive 16 times for the magpies within 34 appearances and helped Newcastle get up to 6th place in the English premier league last season.
If we was to have him still next season he would have scored most of our goals as he proved himself for Newcastle last season and proving that he can score against some of the top clubs in England. We need to keep on too this signings and learn from these mistakes as we could be a top team by now having all these stars and having the stars in our team which we have now and we have to make sure we keep some of our key players for example James Tomkins and winston reid who has done exceptional well for West Ham United._
